The CAC athletic program is among the most extensive of all North African, Middle Eastern, and European International Schools. We enjoy local competition in the CaFoSSA conference (Cairo Foreign Schools Sports Association). Most of our junior varsity teams and some of our varsity teams compete in EMAC (Eastern Mediterranean Athletic Conference). The majority of our varsity teams and some of our junior varsity teams compete with European International schools at ISST (International School Sports Tournaments) events.
CAC is blessed with outstanding athletic facilities featuring two full grass soccer fields, a 6-lane, 25-meter pool with diving, a large air-conditioned gymnasium (and a smaller gym under construction), 6-lane all-weather track (and all field facilities), tennis courts, etc. All outdoor facilities have lights to enable optimum use by teams and community members.
Our students have the opportunity to participate in (and have a reputation for considerable success in) soccer, volleyball, water polo, basketball, swimming, cross country, tennis, wrestling, track & field, baseball and softball.
